Program:
Quality career and technical education is an essential part of America’s workforce development system. The challenges of assuring a high-quality system which meets the needs of students and employers are many. This conference will focus on providing career and technical education leaders with the information and skills to help them meet those challenges. In addition to outstanding general session speakers, participants will be able to choose from a variety of small group sessions. An additional resource available to conference participants will be a commercial exhibit area.

DATE & LOCATION

 

Career and Technical Education: Leadership for Success is being held July 26-28 at the Penn Stater Conference Center Hotel in State College. Registration for the conference will begin at 11 a.m.on July 26. The first conference session will begin on July 26 at 1:30 p.m. A pre-conference golf tournament will also be held on July 26 beginning at 7:30 a.m. The conference will conclude on July 28 at Noon.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION

 

Registration fee for participants who register by July 5 is $250. A late fee of $25 will be charged for registrations received after July 5. The registration fee includes conference expenses and materials, the Opening Barbecue/Picnic on July 26, lunch on July 27, continental breakfasts and refreshment breaks.

PACTA is an approved provider for Act 48 professional development activities. Conference participants will be awarded up to ten hours of Act 48 credit.
