Database Support Specialist: Lower Moreland Township School District This position provides overall management and maintenance of all district databases that involve state reporting and assessment for a district of approximately 2000 students. The specialist manages the day to day operations of the District’s K-12 student’s software, applications, student information system and other district databases and warehouses. Oversees the major functions of student information including grade reporting, end of year processing, schedule, grade book packages, PA Secure ID’s, password policy, etc. The specialist supports the administration of eSchool Plus, Performance Tracker, Follett, Harcourt, Naviance, ConnectEd and Congnos. The specialist also acts as a liaison with all groups that interface with the database systems to provide technical support, training and leadership. The position is responsible for the timely and accurate reporting of district data to the state via PIMS (Pennsylvania Information Management System) and reporting of yearly Child Accounting information. Should also be experienced with Microsoft Office 2010. Qualified candidates will have experience similar/applicable in a school district setting, an associates or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management of Info Systems or related degree. Experience may substitute for education; exceptional analytical, conceptual and problem solving skills; high level of interpersonal and presentation skills; strong written and oral communication skills; and ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks in a timely manner.
