Auto Body Repair Instructor

The Erie County Technical School will accept applications for an Auto Body Repair Instructor, in anticipation of the 2022-2023 School year. 

The instructor is responsible for developing and implementing an instructional program focusing on the technical knowledge and skills to repair, reconstruct and finish automobile bodies, fenders, and external features. Includes instruction in structure analysis, damage repair, non-structural analysis, mechanical and electrical components, plastics and adhesives, painting and refinishing techniques, and damage analysis and estimating.

Position Requirements:

Candidates who meet one of the following two criteria are encouraged to apply:

 

1)   Possess a PDE Career and Technical Instructional certification in Automotive Body

      and Fender– CIP code 47.0603 – Auto Body/Collision and Repair Technology.

OR

2)   Have a minimum of four years' documented, paid, recent work experience in

      Automotive Body Repair, collision repair and refinishing technology.

 

      Individuals without appropriate teaching certification through the PDE must be

      willing to complete coursework requirements through Indiana University of

      Pennsylvania to obtain Career and Technical Instructional Certification.

Must have or be willing to obtain Act 34, 114, and 151 Clearances.
