Situated in rural Central Pennsylvania, 30 miles east of State College, the Mifflin County Academy of Science and Technology has an opening for the position of Administrative Director with the start date on or after July 1, 2022.
The Mifflin County Academy of Science and Technology (The Academy) is experiencing growth in student and adult populations leading to the expansion of educational programs. The Academy is preparing for an $8.7 million expansion project to add Heavy Equipment and Diesel Mechanics Programs.
Candidates must possess excellent leadership and organizational skills, strong interpersonal and communication abilities, and clear knowledge and understanding of technology. Candidates should have experience with grant writing, construction projects, adult education, and state reporting. Career and Technical Administrative Director certification is required.
Salary will be regionally competitive and will be negotiable, contingent on the candidate’s experience and ability to meet board qualifications.
