Health Professions & Related Science Instructor

SUN Area Technical Institute is looking for a permanent full-time (10-month/year) Instructor for our Health Professions & Related Science program, beginning with the 2022-2023 SY.
 
The selected candidate must possess the following PDE certificate: Health/Medical Assisting Services, Other, CIP Code: 51.0899 (Occupational Competency Area:  Health Assistant, 2202) and meet the following qualifications: a minimum of 4 years of full time employment in the healthcare field, a current PA Registered Nurse License or a bachelor’s degree in a related discipline.

Successful candidate must complete PDE required course work and certification process, if not already certified. Must possess good verbal and written communication skills and the ability to manage and motivate high school students.

A standard PA Teaching Application, Resume and Letter of Interest should be sent to Mrs. Jennifer Hain, Administrative Director, SUN Area Technical Institute, 815 E. Market St., New Berlin, PA  17855. Deadline for application is April 29, 2022, or until desired candidate is selected. Successful candidate shall submit all required PA clearances prior to start.
