The Dauphin County Technical School is a comprehensive high school with 1,100 students, grades 9-12. We have an opening for a Nursing Foundations Instructor (CIP 51.9999) to join our team on August 16, 2022. The candidate must have four (4) years of wage-earning work experience as a licensed Registered Nurse, which includes one year in the provision of a licensed long-term care facility. The RN Instructor must meet the qualifications to teach the “PA Nurse Aide Program” as a Primary Instructor and must be able to relate well with high-school aged students, work independently and prepare lessons that support students learning and skill development, including clinical experiences. Candidate must be willing to complete necessary coursework to earn a vocational teaching certification, or currently possess a PA Vocational Teaching Certificate. Prior teaching experience is not required. Salary dependent upon experience. Full benefit package.
