Berks Career & Technology Center (BCTC), has openings for the following positions:


Assistant Director of Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment- Ideal candidate must possess or be able to obtain CTC administrative director or a CTE supervisor certification.  Previous CTE administration leadership experience with demonstrated proficiency in curriculum, instruction, and assessment required.  Selected candidate will plan, implement, develop, direct, review and evaluate the CTC’s curriculum and delivery, professional development, teacher induction, and assessment systems to ensure objectives are aligned to state frameworks and instructional practices that yield the highest standards of student achievement and instructional excellence.  Refer to job ID #316.


Principal – BCTCis searching for an outstanding instructional leader to join our administrative team.  The ideal candidate must possess or be eligible to receive a PA CTE Administrative Director Certificate; administrative experience in CTE preferred but experience in secondary education with the ability to add on to current PDE certification permitted; effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage change effectively; experience in data analytics; motivated leader with highly refined management skills and a team player.  The principal is responsible for managing the instructional process and achieving school-wide goals as set forth by the Executive Director and Joint Operating Committee.  Refer to job ID #317.
