Criminal Justice Teacher

Criminal Justice Teacher – Full-time permanent position beginning August 2021.

Adams County Technical Institute is seeking an experienced, energetic, engaging professional with a genuine interest in teaching high school students a mix of theoretical and hands-on skills related to the criminal justice system. Major topics include law enforcement, the courts, corrections, criminal investigation, and forensic science.

Applicants must possess or be able to obtain a PA Career and Technical Education teaching certificate, including all applicable clearances, in Criminal Justice/Police Science (CIP 43.0107) and meet continuing education requirements to maintain teaching certification.

Applicants should have industry recognized credentials and/or certifications such as OCAT, MOAB, PATH, PPBT, and PPC&D. Master’s degree in Administration of Justice/Criminal Justice preferred.
