North Montco Technical Career Center is seeking a full-time Electro Mechanical / Mechatronics Teacher.

Are you an Electro-Mechanical or Mechatronics Technician or a Mechanical Engineer interested in incredibly rewarding change? If so, this may be the opportunity for you.

NMTCC is seeking a teacher for our brand new Electro Mechanical / Mechatronics lab. In this lab setting you will be responsible for teaching foundation concepts and troubleshooting of electrical systems, 3 phase, pneumatics or hydraulics, programmable logic controls (PLCs) and robotics. Candidate must possess a minimum of 4 years of documented experience in the related technical or engineering field. For non-certified candidates (PA teaching certificate), there will be an educational requirement component.

Job Requirements: Responsible for co-teaching Electro Mechanical / Mechatronics curriculum of foundational knowledge and theory with hands-on project-based learning in a high-energy environment to multiple level learners in grades 9-12 in a state of the art laboratory environment using test rigs and industrial trainers. Facilitate the delivery of curriculum via online content, books, and digital media. Assess the learners’ competency of acquired skills and create alternative assessments and materials based on need. Manage and oversee shop and lab activities. Communicate with learners and staff using multiple forms such as email, online, verbal and written communication.

o FBI Fingerprint Clearance (Act 114)
o School Employee Health Form (Physical and TB test)
o Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure Release Form(s) (Act 168)

Salary based on credentials and experience.
