A vacancy exists at the Lancaster County Career & Technology Center for an Assistant Business Manager. The Assistant Business Manager is responsible for assisting the Business Manager in all facets of the Business Office.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field
• 1-3 years experience
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent computer skills

Duties and Responsibilities:
Business Office Support
• Work with Principals and bookkeepers to assist/ensure account management within appropriate fiscal guidelines
• Invoice for grants as appropriate and work with grant coordinators to maintain fiscal responsibility and adherence to grant guidelines; assist in accounting for Local/ State/ Federal Grants/ Projects
• Assist Business Manager and Adult Ed Directors in budget preparation; Monitor budgets monthly
• Recommend internal control improvements
• First point of contact for Food Service Director regarding operations and day-to-day needs
• Assist staff and supervisors in accounting and financial matters
• Serve as back-up to the Business Manager on all Business Office functions
• Serve as a liaison between LCCTC and the Foundation

Accounting Functions
• Oversees the Center's general ledger ensuring the accuracy of all funds through a data entry and maintenance
• Prepares all financial reporting for administration, the Board and outside agencies
• Prepares required governmental and compliance reporting
• Accurately assigns account codes for financial transactions
• Prepares journal entries as necessary to record internal transactions and corrections
• Manages all Center bank accounts, ensuring necessary balances and funding are available
• Maintains all fund records
• Monitors and reports all external funding for grants and projects
• Coordinates and prepares data for internal and external audits
• Oversees the accuracy of Accounts Payable checks
• Coordinate bidding as required by School Code and local procedures
• Backup to Business Manager as directed and documents all tasks
• Keeps current on regulations and trends in school business

Other Functions/Responsibilities:
Other duties as assigned

Salary: $66,791-$80,149 annual/based on experience

Schedule: Monday- Friday; 40 hours per week; 260 days per year
