Computer Networking Instructor
The Erie County Technical School seeks a professional and dynamic high school Computer Networking Instructor. The instructor is responsible for developing and implementing an instructional program focusing on basic skills in a variety of areas associated with computer networking that will support the Pennsylvania Occupational Standards (POS) for CIP Code 11.0901. Instruction includes but is not limited to computer hardware and operating systems, use of networking cable making tools, SOHO and enterprise configuration, and knowledge of TCP/IP.

Candidates who meet one of the following two criteria are encouraged to apply:
1) Possess a PDE Vocational Teaching certification in Computer Networking – CIP code 11.0901 – Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications.
2) Have a minimum of four years' documented, paid, recent work experience in computer networking. Individuals without appropriate teaching certification through the PDE must be willing to complete coursework requirements through Indiana University of Pennsylvania to obtain vocational teacher certification.
CompTIA certification preferred.
