Assistant Director

The Dauphin County Technical School invites applications for an Assistant Director position starting August 17, 2020. Applicant must possess PA Vocational Administrative Director certification. The successful candidate will demonstrate: leadership, interpersonal, management and organizational skills, a commitment to quality career and technical education for all students, strong communication, planning and collaboration skills, comprehensive knowledge of current educational trends, research and innovative practices, an ability to maintain positive relationships with sending school district personnel, and an ability to create and maintain a culture of professional excellence. A strong background in a career and technical school is required. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the administration of: CATSv2 System, CTE Programs of Study and Curriculum Development, School to Work, Perkins and Equipment Grants, Local Advisory, Perkins, and Occupational Advisory Committees, Professional Development Plan (ACT 48 and ACT 80), Teacher Evaluations, and New Teacher Induction Program.
