Columbia-Montour AVTS is seeking applicants for the following position: 


Instructor of Electro-Mechanical Engineering Technology

Full-time, permanent position to begin at the start of school year 2020-2021.   Applicants must possess an understanding of and the ability to teach all aspects of electro-mechanical systems including but not limited pneumatics, hydraulics, robotics, and trade related electrical competencies.  The successful candidate must relate well to high school students, work independently, and prepare lessons based on the prescribed curriculum.  The candidate must have at least four years paid work experience in Electro-Mechanical Engineering or a related field.  Prior teaching experience is helpful but not necessary.  Must be willing to complete necessary coursework to earn vocational teaching certification, or currently possess a Teaching Certificate.

Letter of interest, resume, three current professional letters of reference, PA Standard Teaching Application, current Act 24 and Act 168 form, Acts 34, 114, 151 Clearances (dated within five years).
