Start Date: Summer 2020

Administrative Director, Central Westmoreland Career and Technology Center, Westmoreland County, PA. Appointment on/about Summer 2020. Enrollment approximately 1,033 students; 8.4 million budget; 9 sponsoring districts. Successful candidate will be a dynamic and strong leader in Career and Technical Education, knowledgeable in educational trends in secondary and adult CTE, advisory committees, staffing, research and policy, physical plant, technology, grant-writing, innovative practices and developing business opportunities. Must be an effective communicator who will collaboratively engage all community, business and education stakeholders. Additional professional attributes must include a high standard of ethics; sincere interest in the education and personal development of all; skills in selecting, motivating, evaluating highly qualified staff; and the ability to maximize human and financial resources. Salary is negotiable and will be competitive, based on training and experience, qualifications and meeting board criteria including but not limited to the skills listed above. PA Career and Technical Administrative Director certificate required or the ability to obtain. Also required, PA Career and Technical Administrative Director certificate /proof of eligibility to obtain, Act 24 clearance, current Act 34 and Act 151 clearances and FBI fingerprints (dated within 1 year) and sealed university transcripts mailed to Robin Savage, JOC President, Central Westmoreland Career and Technical School, 240 Arona Rd., New Stanton, PA 15672. Documents required by June 15, 2020 to assure a review by the JOC, are cover letter, application and resume.
