COMPUTER NETWORKING TEACHER

POSITION: COMPUTER NETWORKING TEACHER

POSITION
REQUIREMENTS: B.S. degree in computer science or related field; will consider equivalent experience; previous teaching experience preferred; must possess broad-based computer and networking knowledge. Qualified candidate should possess A+ and Network+ certifications and knowledge of networking and computer applications; experience in Virtual environments (VMWare/Hyper-V), Servers(Microsoft/Linux), backup systems(local/off-site/Cloud) and disaster recovery. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

PERFORMANCE
RESPONSIBILITIES: Plan for instruction and teach computer networking theory, desktop hardware/software, and Windows environments. Emphasis is on
administration, server optimization, installation, configuration,
network design, management, diagnosis and restoration; coursework also includes Microsoft Office professional applications, client operating systems and Internet technologies.

TERM OF
EMPLOYMENT: Full-time, permanent starting in August 2019.

COMPENSATION
PLAN: Per Teacher’s Contract with benefits
