Social Studies Teacher

TYPE: Social Studies Teacher

Part-time Position

START: 2019/2020 School Year

LOCATION: Lehigh Career & Technical Inst., 4500 Education Park Drive, Schnecksville, PA 18078

CURRICULUM: Responsible to offer a Social Studies Program within the LCTI curriculum model

CONTRACT: Salary, benefits, and conditions per current negotiated agreement between the LCTI Joint Operating Committee and the LCTI Education Association.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Possess valid Pennsylvania Social Studies Academic Teaching Certification, or equivalent

2. Minimum three (3) years teaching experience in Social Studies preferred, but not required

3. Ability to relate to high school youth in an educational setting

4. Capable of fulfilling all job responsibilities as indicated on the LCTI Academic Teacher position description.

5. Possess excellent communication skills.

6. Acts 34, 151, 114 clearances required.
