Homeland Security & Protective Services Instructor
The Williamsport Area School District is seeking a highly skilled professional to teach within the Williamsport Area High School’s Career & Technical Education (CTE) Homeland Security, Law Enforcement, Firefighting, and Related Protective Services program. This full-time teaching position will begin in the 2019-20 school year. Experience working with high school students and teaching in a CTE environment are preferred. A Minimum of four (4) years documented wage earning experience as a Police Officer OR EMT OR Fire Fighter OR Related Military Experiences in the past 10 years is a requirement per Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) regulations for employment & certification. The successful candidate must be willing to earn a Vocational II teaching certificate and pass an Occupational Competency Assessment (OCA) as required by PDE.
