Effective August 2019, a vacancy for an LTS Instructor of Animal Science exists within the Division Career, Technical and Customized Education at the Technical College High School, Pennock Bridge Campus in West Grove.

Candidate must hold a valid PDE Agricultural Education Instructional I or II Certificate (K-12) with an Agricultural Education major preferred. Additionally, candidate should possess relevant industry certifications.


Duties & Responsibilities:
Provide quality occupational instruction to secondary career and technical students to prepare them for a successful career path.


The Animal Science program focuses on the scientific principles that underlie the breeding and husbandry of agricultural and companion animals. Includes instruction in the animal sciences, animal husbandry and animal production.


Salary Range (2019 - 2020 School Year):


$49,559 to $81,214 - Emergency/Intern Certification (coming in with industry experience)


$51,181 to $83,466 - Vocational I Teaching Certification


$53,464 to $86,855 - Vocational II Teaching Certification


Schedule: 10 month, school year (194 days), 7.5 hours per day Monday through Friday, 7:30AM to 3:00PM.
