AUTOMOTIVE TECHNOLOGY INSTRUCTOR

AUTOMOTIVE TECHNOLOGY INSTRUCTOR

Full-time (187 Days); Tenure Track Position

·       Minimum of 6 years trade experience in all phases of the modern auto repair field; with emphasis on the latest technology involving:

o   Suspensions and Steering

o   Electrical and Electronic Systems

o   Engine Performance

o   Engine Repair

o   Automatic Transmissions and Transaxles

o   Manual Drive Train and Axles

o   Heating and Air Conditioning

 

·       High School Diploma required.

 

·       Prior teaching and/or supervisory experience preferred, but not required.

 

·       Good human relations and written/verbal communication skills required.

 

·       Ability to relate well with young people in a supportive role.

 

·       Working knowledge of computer applications.
