PROTECTIVE SERVICES INSTRUCTOR

Description
Eastern Center for Arts and Technology is seeking a permanent, full-time Protective Services Instructor to join our team for the 2022-2023 school year. Responsible for teaching the competency-based curriculum as validated by the Occupational Advisory Committee. Employment experience in the area(s) of Law Enforcement, Fire Protection or Industrial/Public Safety. Must possess/eligible for PA Certification in Protective Services Occupations – 2122. The instructor will conduct all classroom activities as well as other professional duties as required.

Must be willing to fulfill teaching certification requirements through Temple University.
Requirements
Qualifications:
 Knowledge of current trends in the industry
 Instructional/motivational techniques
 Technology as an instructional tool
 Background clearances as per PA School Code

Experience:
Four (4) years of documented wage-earning experience as a Police Officer or EMT or Fire Fighter

Salary:
Based on experience and education in coordination with Professional contract.
