LOCATION: Lehigh Career & Technical Institute, 4500 Education Park Drive, Schnecksville, PA 18078

CURRICULUM: Responsible to offer an Electrical Technology Program within the LCTI curriculum model.

CONTRACT: Salary, benefits, and conditions per current negotiated agreement between the LCTI Joint Operating Committee and the LCTI Education Association.

1. Minimum five (5) years recent work experience in residential, commercial and industrial electrical systems, DC and AC motors, controls and electrical distribution panels, with knowledge of circuit diagrams, use of electrical codes and blueprint reading, or valid PA teaching certificate for Electrical Occupations.
2. Successful completion of an Occupational Competency Assessment for Electrical Occupations by July 2018
3. Willingness to pursue and maintain industry recognized credentials and/or certification including participation in technical seminars, workshops, and classes related to the occupation
4. Bilingual with proficiency in the Spanish language a plus, but not required
5. Possess excellent communication skills. Work with high school youth a plus, but not required
6. Capable of fulfilling all job responsibilities as indicated on the LCTI Career & Technical Instructor Position Description
7. Act 34, 151, & 114 clearances required
