The Dauphin County Technical School invites applications for a Principal position for starting August 1, 2022. Applicants must possess a secondary principal certificate and have experience as a building principal. The successful candidate will demonstrate: leadership, interpersonal, management and organizational skills, a commitment to quality career and technical education and academic course work for all students, strong communication, planning and collaboration skills, comprehensive knowledge of current educational trends, research and innovative practices. An ability to maintain positive relationships with sending school district personnel and the ability to create and maintain a culture of professional excellence is required. A strong background in a career and technical school is also required. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the administration of: admissions, enrollment, scheduling, child accounting, teacher evaluations, professional development, and school counseling services.
