Engineering and Advanced Manufacturing Teacher 

The York County School of Technology is seeking a professional educator for the Engineering and Advanced Manufacturing program for the 2022-2023 school year.  This is a technical high school program for students in grades 9-12.  

The curriculum includes computer and robotic controlled systems for manufacturing and an introduction to engineering pathways.  Course topics include electronics, robotics, CAD, industrial components, various computer control software and hardware applications, industrial control circuits, automation, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), CNC, hydraulics, and pneumatics.  Also included are concepts related to safety, ethics, problem solving, teamwork, and STEM initiatives.

Pennsylvania teaching certification in Technology Education K-12 or Engineering Related Technology is strongly preferred. Candidates who do not hold teaching certification must have at least four years' documented paid work experience in the field and be willing to complete required college coursework and testing necessary to obtain full teaching certification.

The York County School of Technology is a comprehensive technical high school, offering technical and academic instruction to approximately 1,700 students from 14 sending school districts across York County.
